Traineeship

The Traineeship pathway is for those of our students who do not achieve a grade 4/5 in English and Maths. The programme includes both GCSE Maths and English and a specialist employability course providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to secure work in today’s market. Ofsted recognised this pathway as being extremely successful.

'The Traineeship pathway provides a route for learners who did not attain a Grade C in English or Mathematics. All learners have
success in this area either through retaking GCSE and improving their grades or through studying functional skills qualifications.’

Our Traineeship students after successful completion of this pathway have moved on to the Technical pathway to complete
Level 3 qualifications.
