Ocean-Leigh's design chosen as St Luke's Christmas card
Congratulations to Year 8 student Ocean-Leigh for having her artwork transformed into a Christmas card that will be sold to raise money for charity.
Last year, following our Lower Academy Christmas Card Competition, we sent all of the entries to St Luke’s Hospice as a gift. The charity liked the cards so much that they chose to enter the designs into their own competition.
After many votes from members of the public, Ocean-Leigh’s design was the outright winner and will be printed into cards to be sold in the St Luke’s Hospice Reception, their 12 shops and in the community by their Fundraising Team.
“When I got told that I had won my heart was filled with joy. My parents were ecstatic. My cousins and friends were also really pleased for me.” Ocean-Leigh
“Well done Ocean-Leigh, we can’t wait to use your design for our Christmas card! The turn out this year was amazing and we loved every submission we received. We’d like to thank everyone who took part and if you weren’t successful this year, we’d love you to take part again next year! ” Jo Lucas - School Events Fundraiser, St Luke’s Hospice.
