Lucy cuts hair for charity
Sixth Form student Lucy Selby has said goodbye to her flowing locks by having her hair cut dramatically short for charity.
Lucy’s stepbrother James has leukaemia and the decision to part with 18 inches of hair is to promote awareness of James’s situation and to raise money for the Little Princess Trust. The charity provides real hair wigs free of charge to children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illness. Lucy’s donation of hair will be made into one of those wigs.
